He is the father of six children and the grandfather of twenty-seven grandchildren, some of whom can speak and understand a little Sugt'stun as well. In addition to his time in Nanwalek, Mr. Moonin has lived in Port Graham, where he worked as a seine fisherman and at a cannery. His memories include hiking to the store in Port Graham, fishing in the lake in Nanwalek, and hunting for wild game.
